Diane Hawver-Hunter “REPENT” woman taken in adultery

clip_image001ORIGINAL MESSAGE FROM KEVIN:

Kevin DeLaune Pastor Perry Stone.... I really wish you could explain Hebrews 6: 4-6 and Hebrews 10: 26-29. I was caught up in DELIBERATE WILLFUL SIN for the past year. I KNEW what God told me NOT to do and yet I kept on doing it! I want God back so much, but I'm afraid God has now rejected me. Those verses DO state that. Please help!

Diane Hawver-Hunter

remember Jesus as the well with the woman caught up in adultry? he said" your sins are firgiven".." go and sin no more"

gays4jesus: Verse context:
John 8:3-11 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. (KJV)

Funny when I read the context of the story about being caught in sin by Christians, it appears that those that caught a sinner in the act simply had no grounds to be accusers.

Diane Hawver-Hunter are you part of THEY? 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
I’d say unless clip_image001[1] Kevin DeLaune is raping or murdering or some other well established criminal law breaking we should offer ways out not ways to heap guilt on him, conviction gave that woman’s accuser a heart to leave it alone. Jesus said sin no more not Christians. It was Jesus who knows that woman personally was able to give instruction about her life’s issue.

Karen Wood- Hawkins SAID:

“Kevin, as long as you repent of your sin,”

gays4jesus: Wouldn’t it be nice if magically you can state repent and everyone understands and changes. However, very often we assume we know sin by names. Above the accuser came with a sin name “adultery” but it appeared the accusers were guilty as sin as they say. Easy to say repent, but I bet Kevin DeLaune was wanting explanation to a verse and wants to get back with God, telling someone to repent he if that was magic that might be possible. Kevin believes he was deliberately sinning and may be rejected by God. There are many verses that tells us Jesus will never forsake us or reject us. Will you play God to say exceptions to that rule? Or will you discuss verses that say Jesus did not leave him and has open arms for him unconditionally. He already knows the deliberate acts and he can ask and research about what he believes is sin. We should not assume things and give him absolutes “REPENT” which may not be an easy thing to do if he was hard core drug addict or smoker. If a murderer are advice of course turn yourself in. but we have no clue with the info he gave to judge. My point we are so conditioned to judge we forget to love.
