Timothy I agree that that verb can be miss interpereted but what about the verse in 1 Corinthinans which uses "Arsenokoitai" which comes from the words arsen = “male,” and koite = “bed,” or a homosexual.[Irked]

733  arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy'-tace); from 730 and 2845; a sodomite: KJV-- abuser of (that defileself) with mankind.
The reason people use homosexual here is because it does have the word bed in 730’s meaning.
NOW  730 /árrhēn, "a male" and 2845 /koítē, "a mat, bed") fine and dandy,, but here is the magic from homophobes by adding a conclusion: – properly, a man in bed with another man; a homosexual. Note “a homosexual “ comes from 733  arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy'-tace); from 730 and 2845; a sodomite,  “a sodomite” is changed to “a homosexual”. No hint how a bed and a male makes a homosexual. A homosexual as defined like a relationship that is heterosexual, in meaning to relate to usual behavior is one man one woman i.e. one man and one man or one woman and one woman. This is the meaning of gay or str8. And these are in a monogamous relationship. One man and one prostitutes is not considered in heterosexual norm. But is very much a heterosexual activity. Because later history teaching from the Vatican’s invented antigay doctrine using some 11 verses so they could purge leaders from office in attempt to gain more power over people, does not render Bibles words into the new power desire meaning’s of the Vatican. Timothy I'm tired of Homosexuality looking at one verse without debunking the rest. And for a second lets humor the fact that Leviticus 20:13 speaks about homosexuality. in Leviticus 20:23 the word says, "And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them." God hates homosexuality but loves the person and doesn't want them to sin.
gfj What was the manner of nations back when Moses wrote Leviticus? 12 major Greek gods, 35 plus Roman gods, Egyptians had around 8700 gods. What about ancient Israel? The ancient Canaanites worshipped much the same gods as did their Israelite cousins, except they appear not to have worshipped the Hebrew God, Yahweh. We know they worshipped Ba'al, Moloch, Tammuz (the shepherd god), the sun god, the moon god, Astarte, Asherah and many others. In English you must read the sentence to arrive at what form of love is being talked about. Greek no guessing. The word man in Hebrew in Leviticus along with other words in the verse has 13 possible correct translations to English. 3 actually can be translated male as it were, but doing so would render the sentence meaningless to a then present day Hebrew speaking person. The other 10 ways makes perfect grammar sense. All those 10 ways are very specifically saying a str8 man that previously had sex with a woman loving it. Also the womankind spoken of is a sexually immoral woman namely an adulteress in the comparison the verse makes. What God hates is you being married to Jesus goes worships at a Buddhist temple or the like. What’s more it calls for the death penalty and the custom of Moses’ day was the accuser stones to death the one they accused. You cannot assume laws changed so therefore you can disobey what Moses wrote. gfj Jesus climbed on the Cross to pay the price you owed for your sins. The tiniest sin gets you hell, the work of Grace on the Cross makes those sins cleansed. Obedience to God is to believe God that he sent his only begotten Son to die in your place. He writes his laws on tablets of flesh. Don’t be caught teaching the LAW of Moses that you cannot follow yourself. Yes, the WHOLE picture is bigger than stating a verse as though you need no other resource to explain it.

Timothy I see where you're comming from on this and I can see where you twisted the scripture to fit your needs which many people do. But I have one question. let's humor your thought that Romans 1 wasn't talking about Homosexuals how would you defend 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 which says
"9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God." Now "abusers" in Greek is Arsenokoitai which comes from two greek words arsen = “male,” and koite = “bed,” which translate the Hebrew for “lying with a male” which is from Leviticus 20:13
gfj It appears Timothy commented on my blog then apparently shared it on my forum and added comments. So no need to add any more comments here from me. "One-God, Apostolic, Tongue-talking, Holy-roller," was to point out the distinction between out to lunch Pentecostals that often profess all other denominations are going to hell and the otherwise what I would compare to Assemblies of God style Pentecostals. One says it’s my way or the hiway, the other says lets study it and learn. Of Course AOG fails this approach when talking about gays.
