What can be said about God's promises to us?

Jesus said: "I am that bread of life", John 6:48, "I am the light of the world", John 8:12, "I am the resurrection and the life." John 11:25

1. He has promised to supply every need we have. The Bible says: "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus". That's Phillipians 4:19. Now notice, God has obligated Himself only to the extent of our needs. That would include food, clothing, shelter, companionship, love, and salvation thru Jesus Christ. It would not include the multiplicity of luxuries that we have come to think of as needs.
2. God has promised that His grace is sufficient for us. (II Corinthians 12:9). in fact, He has made provision for our salvation by His grace through faith. Read Ephesians 2:8. It is through an obedient faith that we have access into the grace of God according to Romans 5:2.
3. God has promised that His children will not be overtaken with temptation. Instead, He assures us that a way of escape will be provided. This promise is recorded in I Corinthians 10:13. Jude wrote: "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present your faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy" (Jude v 24). Darius, King of the Medes, said to Daniel, "Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee" (Daniel 6:16). He did deliver Daniel from the den of lions.
4. God has promised us victory over death. He first resurrected Jesus by way of assuring our resurrection. Peter said: "This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we are all witnesses" (Acts 2:32). Paul wrote to the Corinthians: "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (I Corinthians 15:3,4). Later on he adds: "but thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (I Corinthians 15:57).
5. God has promised that all things work together for good to those who love and serve Him faithfully (Romans 8:28). It may be difficult for us to see and understand how this is accomplished at times, but God has promised it, and He will deliver.
6. God has promised that those who believe in Jesus and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins will be saved. (Read Mark 16:16 and Acts 2:38).
7. God has promised His people eternal life (John 10:27,28). In closing, let me appeal to you to live so that the promises of God will be yours.

YOU - I am a gay pentecostal and currently attend an Assemby of God Church, but at this time nobody knows.

ME - I have attended Assemblies of God for about 35 years, probably 15 years every Sunday. Those years they did not know I was gay and they very often told me they see Jesus in me and it was common that I would be called up to the alter by the pastor of whatever AOG I was visiting. They told me God told them to call me up specifically, and then they would operate in the Spirit and say God love me so much and that I loved God. They gave many prophesies which has come to pass. This was neat because this was in front of average 1000 people in the congregations. However, once I went on TV with “Gays For Jesus” and they saw the word gay then I get instant Can’t know Jesus and I am going to hell. I think this is fabulous because it is a good cross section of how one is treated when the assumption is your are str8 and when very openly on TV they see the word gay and so a 100% opposite reaction.

YOU - But I feel God is going to greatly use the evangelical gay community to help bring The Church into unity in these last days. I believe God is calling out gay pentecostals to bring this about using the apostolic and the prophetic gifts. I attend an EC Bible Study group and I think I'm the only pentecostal there. I want execise some of the gifts, but I'm new to this group and I don't want them to think I am trying to take over or something. I know God will tell me the right time is and that time is getting close the way is moving in this study. What has God shown you on how God is using gay pentecostals?

ME - I also have attended EC a few times and likewise though much closer to AOG than MCC, which I also spend several years, EC is not Pentecostal so as with MCC (though the founder is Four Square Pentecostal). Pentecostal gays are left out. Many gay churches have open doors to all Christian faiths and offer each a place to worship, but concerning Pentecostals it is just not acceptable to operate openly in the spiritual gifts or praises.

There are Pentecostal gay churches around, but they seem to not be in active Pentecostal operations. Meaning they stay behind their church doors not making any waves with other gay Christians let alone the Christian community at large.

For me I can see no less than world outreach. Pentecostal str8s namely AOGs made quite a dent in the world. They got TBN (though for some time I believe they are now over ran with infiltrated enemies of God. I believe once it is time gay Pentecostals will explode onto the scene.

A huge part of the Last Days is based in Pentecostal gay movement exploding off the charts. This is a long story why I believe this and I believe there is plenty Bible for it. (Beside Jesus stuffing it down my throat for 35 years). Brant Baker had a marvelous healing ministry. With Lonnie Frisbee they single handedly gave the Str8 Pentecostal movement their foundation in worshipping Jesus. Both died of aids and were erased by TBN form public record, just recently you can now read about these TWO on line. Lonnie was where “Jesus freak” came from. One entry for an entire year for history of thing at vineyard church was “Lonnie said, come Holy Spirit”. Brant Baker had about the most wonderful style of ministry and Had Kathryn Kaulman’s 300 person choir. I actually went to about 6 rallys and saw the healings. Brant loved to dress up like Kathryn. Benny Hinn copied Brant’s ministry and also hung out with Brant often. Benny gives no credit to Brant. Brant in those days (1980s) It appears thought he had to change and did go to ex-gay ministry or something, the complete details are hard to find. Later after he was banned from TBN and was well on his way to dying had a change in life and was happier because he decided he did not care what others thought about him.

So horrible that Christians can wipe a minister from record just because they found out he had aids.

Anyway Brant was a spark but to early as it was a near 100% anti gay climate then. I believe and I should say I am 100% convinced God is very close to breaking the flood gates open. For decades, God has shown be generally gay Christians will be restorers. A huge rejection of Jesus and falling away will happen and God will send gays to help str8s back to Jesus. Most Christian gays don’t have a clue that they are being trained by God to be restorers. But when you observe gay groups or whatever their cause it has a foundation of forgivance and the goal to teach and acceptance of all. Rarely you find gay groups with vengeance as a motive.

Up to now non-Pentecostal gays have made huge differences. They laid the foundation, they did the research, they got the knowledge, they did the homework, they fought the battles and so on. But Pentecostal gays felt left out, lost, hated by all, not accepted in their Pentecostal churches and not tolerated to worship as they would like in gay churches. But their spirits long for to serve God through Jesus Christ. Seems so impossible.

Very soon you will see a gay Pentecostal holding rallies like Billy Graham might hold. Everyone will know that person is gay. God will heal more people in one service than he has healed often in a year. More will come to Christ in a single speaking engagement by a Gay Pentecostal than in most other rallies.

Part of what Jesus did will be common. Jesus spoke then he healed all that came to him for healing. Something is about to happen that will bring about an explosion in gay Pentecostals. Still most think God will never do anything with Pentecostal gays. I feel it in my bones. It may be just a word from someone, a happen chance news clip then gay Pentecostals will know God will use them after all. Thought to be str8 pastors will suddenly announce they are gay. Str8 pastors will fall like rain.

Ezekiel 34is about the str8 church and how it treats gay Christians. It as much as says DAVID is an apostle to gays. It hints that Elijah of the time Jesus will soon return is gay and is apostle to gays and much more. He will go onto to be one of the TWO Witnesses. All this might be hard to swallow, but there just is way too much information hidden from common view and take decades to discover so many individuals have done tremendous research into so much. As much as gay have been persecuted will God show answered prayers for those centuries of persecution by his people to his people. God has set a time to move and not a moment sooner. He will answer those prayers in the sight of their persecutors.

Gays are a nation of 630 million people. They are mixed amongst all nations, but they are a people unto God. God has placed them to do his work in the final days. The Church said I have no need of this member of the Body of Christ and they cut them off, in 1967 God began grafting them back in 1^st the Catholics then the Protestants, then the secular gays. Mostly visibly secular gays have gotten a great deal of dignity back to gays through the law. Christian gays and secular gays avoid the main issue and have no power of str8 Christians because it is a faith issue. Non- Pentecostal Christians have the courts or researching facts. Facts and courts are not faith and faith is Christianity and if Christians thinks God says then courts and facts are liars.

Pentecostal gays got an ACE up their Sleeve “The Holy Spirit” and baptism of fire. Unleash this and God will move. This is what will happen. I know God will move when I speak, I have no doubt. I know I can stand face to face with those that think gay is sin and God will move. Scary for me, but I know God will do this and so fear and I do mean fear and scared out of my wits can’t stop God so I will stand. I know the facts plus Pentecostal happens to mean you should be getting some interesting things from God over decades so Not just Bible, not just facts, not just hope, but actual first hand from God through Jesus confirmation.

Gays over all aspects and culture of life are Gatekeepers. There is a reason for this. Gays likewise in Christianity are amongst Gatekeepers. Being a Gatekeeper does not get you heaven, but is a common facet of being gay.

When the Church chose to ban gays it began to get sick and today is in death throws. The body of Christ needs its members. God has given humans provisions whether Christian or not to live well. The Church often blocks many provisions o f God. An unblocking is coming and many will turn their backs on Jesus. Gay Christians will be ready to nurse them back. Pentecostal gay Christians will step in and guide all gay Christians and many others to becoming aware of this calling most gays and others have no clue they have.

So this is what is showing me and has shown me.

Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so

Jesus Christ Son of God loves you very much. Gay or str8 you, can be healed of many health problems and emotional problems. Everywhere we see Jesus speaking, we see miracles. You can expect miracles when you preach in Jesus’ name. Miracles did not disappear when the last of the 12 Apostles.

Mark 16:17-18 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. KJV)

As you can see, we are given assurances that Jesus gives us to where with all to do fantastic things in his name. Think about it, how many times did Jesus spend time healing the sick after speaking to crowds that came to hear him? We see a pattern that Jesus had as he ministered to people.

Many Christians do add in a sinner’s prayer as part of their preaching to others almost as if they would be bad if they did not offer a chance for non-believers to come to Jesus during their preaching. So why should we leave out the most common thing Jesus did when he finished speaking?

Often we as ministers set up a ritual for our services. Announcements, singing, offering, communion, and some other things (in various order of presentation). Mostly nothing wrong with it because we need a format to work for gatherings of people. Why not add a”lay on hands” time to heal people in the name of Jesus? Should we care if no one gets healed? We do not seem to mind too much if none or not many come to accept Jesus, we still ask for those that want to accept him now.

Anyway, yes you can be healed today. Miracles do happen today. We have 2000 years to observe not every time we ask God in Jesus’ name to we receive something we can touch or see or feel. However, we do see plenty of times miracles do happen.

There is one way to God and that is through His Son Jesus Christ. He is the door, now this door can be in very strange places, but it is the same door and you are asking God to forgive you in Jesus name and come into your life. There is no other name that can forgive your sins and give you eternal life. The door where ever you walk through it will be Jesus by NAME. Leave out this name and it is not the door to forgiveness and eternal life.

Being a Christian is not a requirement to be healed by Jesus. It usually will help you think that maybe Jesus is who he says he is and is the door to eternal life and you may want to accept him after you experienced healing. Accepting Jesus because you got healed should be followed quickly by reading the KJV (King James Version) of the Bible or else you would not have a base to rely on as the days go forward and life goes on. Accepting Jesus means not only did he die (paying the price) for your sins, but he first loved you was why he died for you, he wants you to have eternal life. Jesus will come into you and never leave you and this is what is very different from all other religions. Jesus has a personal relationship with you.

Types of healings vary, some are very very dramatic and you have no question Jesus healed you on the spot. You will FEEL the process of healing and can describe it in detail to others it was so distinct. Other times you can’t tell that anything happened or it may be gradual whereas before you were going downhill and or diagnostically you would need a much longer time to heal. Generally praise is given to Jesus even though it may be a normal healing process of your body (which Jesus created this process when he created life).

You may just as you were already doing get sicker and died as you were going to anyway. Christians do die of everything everyone else dies of so no room to blame God or have a pity party because Jesus did not heal you like you hoped he would.

The brighter side is as long as you live you are available to receive a healing miracle. There is no limit to how many, some get few or can’t recognize any they may have received, others get them often even daily. It is not easy to say any person is more faithfull as a measure to numbers of miracles received. Some get miracles daily and don’t come around to Jesus till late in life.

It is best said in the Bible: John 21:22 Jesus saith unto him . . . , what is that to thee?. . . (KJV)

So, seek your healings till you receive it or die in Christ whatever comes first. You may get it in a church service or a Christian rally. Maybe a Bible study, or late at night when your pain is so great, you raise your arms to God praising him even in your pain.

You live in a remarkable time as things worsen and we draw closer to the return of Jesus we will not only see horrible things and many are killed in many situations and major disasters and outright government killings of masses of people, we will also see ministers rising up having great authority to heal many people and this will begin to be commonly heard about and you can go to such people and be healed. Also just asking any Christian to lay hands on you will be more commonly heard about that healing happening.

It is important to know Jesus is Spirit and God is Spirit and in the spirit you must worship him for you are also spirit, but still in the flesh. Worship in the spirit, figure out how, this is not easy to teach but you are given the abilities to worship God in the spirit so it is natural part of being human. We all want to worship GOD, but most try to by worshipping god (small g). It works when you worship god but the father of these gods is satan. So read the KJV Bible and learn about Jesus and the process to worship GOD and discern the gods so you will avoid the traps set by satan. If you know GOD (KJV Bible) then god (satan) can’t trick you into thinking god is GOD.

Jesus hears you so you can talk to him. Seek him call on his name praise him worship him and talk to him like he is your best friend. He is God Creator, but also he is your best friend. It is amazing how Creator of all things can be so personal with you. It is a balancing act to worship him as God and enjoy him as your best friend. He is God not your imaginary friend or your slave or your pet. He is your best friend and he is GOD. Treat him both like He is God Creator of all things and also treat him like your best friend.

Jesus has emotions and you can make him laugh and feel sad and angry, you can get him quite angry, but he loves you and his anger will not ever make him forsake you. He understands it when you make him mad and gets over it. Your belief that Jesus is his Son and that God rose him on the 3^rd day and that his death on the Cross paid the price for your sins so you will not have to pay the price of eternal death without God is obedience to God. The Law of Moses only showed us we are sinners and is not a list to obey and so called obedience to God. Jesus died once and for all and God wrote his LAWS on your heart. Sin lists are not of God. Live as best you can, God is with you till the end, then eternally in Heaven (heaven is a place, but fact is most of the time we will be elsewhere doing : 1 Cor 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Sodomites are not innocent and Sodom and Gomorrah is a story with details that describe acts that cannot be confused.

Gen 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: (KJV)

Old and young and all the people is descriptive of age and numbers of people.

Gen 19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. (KJV)

wickedly = 7489 ra` a` (raw-ah'); a primitive root; properly, to spoil (literally, by breaking to pieces); figuratively, to make (or be) good for nothing, i.e. bad (physically, socially or morally): KJV-- afflict, associate selves [by mistake for 7462],
break (down, in pieces), + displease, (be, bring, do) evil (doer, entreat, man), showself friendly [by mistake for 7462], do harm, (do) hurt, (behaveself, deal) ill, X indeed, do mischief, punish, still, vex, (do) wicked (doer, -ly), be (deal, do) worse.

Lot’s “doing wickedly” is descriptive of detailed behavior that was planned.

the Hebrew for abomination means acts done worshipping other gods that is why God hates it so... 8441 tow` ebah (to-ay-baw'); or to` ebah (to-ay-baw'); feminine active participle of 8581; properly, something disgusting (morally), i.e. (as noun) an abhorrence; especially idolatry or (concretely) an idol: KJV-- abominable (custom, thing), abomination.

The Bible is a big book and in it, both in the New and Old Testaments have many form of this word abomination that English has just one word. The entire Bible and all its uses of this word it all its form always means that the thing disgusted is acts to other gods that evokes the “Exod 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; (KJV)” You cannot use Bible words and interpret them to any possible modern meaning you wish it to mean. You must adhere to the meaning in the Bible.

The Bible does have a Hebrew word that does mean simply disgusted thing:

8262 shaqats (shaw-kats'); a primitive root; to be filthy, i.e. (intensively) to loathe, pollute: KJV-- abhor, make abominable, have in abomination, detest, X utterly.

Lev 11:11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. (KJV)

The 1^st abomination above is acts to other gods, the 2^nd abomination above is disgusted thing. Bible is wonderful you cannot guess meanings because ancient Hebrew is a language thatis accessibly eaily and there is no excuse to not use the meanings of those days. God did not give us a Bible TODAY he gave it to us around 300 AD:

95 A.D. the last book was finished. Over time spurious documents surfaced. Finally a church council was called to close the canon in 325 A.D. The same 66 books in use in 95 A.D. were the ones confirmed at the council of Nicea in 325.

Therefore, you must use 95 AD definitions when claiming a Bible word means something.

And at no time has a hint to gays been in any documented usages in that 1600 years, the main use of this word has been to mention sex out of species

So if you are so sure arsenokoites means gays then can you present where you are finding that information that shows arsenokoites means homosexual?

According to Nelson's Bible Dictionary Corinth was ancient Greece's most important trade city. At Corinth the apostle Paul established a flourishing church made up of a cross section of the worldly minded people who had flocked to Corinth to participate in gambling, legalized temple prostitution, business adventures, and amusements available in this first century navy town. The city soon became a melting pot for the approximately 500,000 people who lived there at the time of Paul's arrival.

Near the city's market place were the butcher stalls or meat markets that Paul mentioned in 1 Corinthians 10:25. The meat was often dedicated to pagan idols before being sold. This presented a culturo-religious problem for the Christians in Corinth. Rising 1,500 feet above the city and to the south of the acropolis was a fortified hill upon which loomed the infamous Temple of Aphrodite or Venus. This pagan temple and its 1,000 temple prostitutes greatly influenced the city's culture and morals.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. (KJV)

The phrase we want to look at is: nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. According to Strong's the Greek word translated as effeminate is #3120, malakos (mal-ak-os'); of uncertain affinity; soft, i.e. fine (clothing); figuratively, a catamite. A catamite, according to Webster's is a kept boy. In these days it was very common for young males to prostitute themselves to older, wealthy men in exchange for money, education or a place to live. These were not intended to be love relationships. Many of these men were married to women. These boys were simply kept for sexual purposes as live-in prostitutes. As I stated in the Gay Lifestyle section of this article, I do not defend this type of activity. Unfortunately, today, there is a group of young, male prostitutes that has come about because their parents kicked them out of the house for being gay. These are two different things. Young male prostitutes do not equal homosexuals and homosexuals do not equal young male prostitutes. Prostitution has nothing to do with homosexuality.

The next part of the phrase in question is translated as abusers of themselves with mankind. According to Strong's Dictionary there is only one word that is translated as abusers of themselves with mankind. # 733 arsenokoites (ar-sen-ok-oy'-tace); from 730 and 2845; a sodomite: The word sodomite means male temple prostitute. This word has a Hebrew (or Old Testament) counterpart. So we get confusion in this word fornication because sources differ some say sex out of marriage some say its committing adultery. WESTCOTT AND HORT

Westcott and Hort were Anglican priests and closet Catholics who lived in England in the 19^th century (1800s).  It was the same time in which there was a movement within the Anglican clergy to reunite with the Pope—led notably by Cardinal Newman—an Anglican priest turned Roman Catholic prelate.

The beliefs and agenda of Westcott and Hort can be gleaned by reading their personal correspondence preserved in their biographies.  While they were deciding what does and does not belong in their revision of the Greek New Testament, they were involved in:

Some 300 years later, they would have invented the anti-gay doctrine to create scandals. The anti-gay doctrine uses 7 verses that use the word sodomite. This doctrine states gay is sin by using the Bible word sodomite (male temple prostitute). The actual city of Sodom never at any time in the entire Bible any citizen of Sodom was ever called a sodomite. Every use of this word was directly talking about a fertility temple prostitute.

Above is from a book that was strongly considered for inclusion in the Bible, but chapter by chapter it resembled Genesis. Genesis was a little less graphic and more poetic and so Jasher did not really have that much a chance. However, it was widely read in those days. Point here is the more you search about Sodom you can learn things. Books that were considered for the Bible should have some creditability and at least give you an impression better suited to understand the people of Sodom. Sodom had a very long history as did the fertility temple prostitutes. Because a thousand years after the manuscripts were written, people evolved words. To name sexual immorality after a sexual immoral city is a no brainer. But to paste this name on to decent folk that are not even closely behaving sexually as the actual city or the actual people of the actual city behaved is just a flat out lie and a disgrace. Jesus Baptizes in fire and the Holy Spirit. So what does this mean?

One strange way to put it is it gives us superpowers which most of us wish we had. satan counterfeits this every chance he gets. But through demons it appears to manifest in demon possession which gives us a sense of superpower and seemingly control over others. It makes us extra ordinary,  but  often bring the opposite of why we wanted superpower in the first place. Drugs gives us escape into a superpower world in our minds. Dreams can take us on ventures no scifi movie can.

Secret societies promise us abilities to control our environment by mental processes as well as controlling people. All of these things often seem to work to various degrees. Some people can work pretty significant powers that amazes us.

We are fascinated by predictions and ancient mysteries. We wish we could save the world. This drives many people to great lengths that often results in  a life that is opposite their root ideas. They often end up hurting others or go off into a world of their own.

Authors write fantastic tails about fantastic adventures, they know how to choke us up on emotional levels in trials and heroics. But mostly it is  just our dreams that mostly never happen. We live mundane lives though perhaps happy enough with no severe side effects of not having our fantasies come true.

Well we can have a as it were superpowers. Though not our own (though the human body and  brain are remarkable and capable or many things). We are meant to be spirit bodies and in every since of  this word "superpower", that it what we will have one day.

 
Age is not a pre-requisite young or old can have superpowers today. When I am talking about superpowers I am not referring to greedy ambitions of wealth and rule over multitudes. This topic is on your personal desires to be able to be a benefit to mankind in good unselfish ways and the joy of going beyond the limitations of our bodies. 

Many people do find degrees of powers above what appears to be the limits of our fleshly bodies. We give these various names. People in the occult. Mystics, masters, predictors and many other kinds of above the normal reaches of people generally. As Christians we readily call most if not all of these ways of the devil. Perhaps they are though many swear beyond any thing that it is God given gift though they do  not have any real concrete evidence of really believing the Bible or mad a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ through a sinners prayer of sorts. There are many mysteries and all are not satan in origin.

So how can a Christian gain "superpowers"? Again as Christians I am meaning decent folk not out for personal gain but desire to serve God and have this feeling of thinking and wanting and wishing you could be special and have powers to do things you just can't do now. I can never stress the importance of your motives. Christians can abuse gifts of God drastically and often.

We can have powers though it is not often called this. I am wanting to explain Baptism in the Holy Spirit differently than is common, but still accurate. Getting Baptized in the Holy Spirit creates an actual change in how you feel inside and you can experience access to the spirit world. Receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit means the Holy Spirit comes inside you in a greater function than as a comforter that you get when accepting Jesus as savior. This is a very distinct infilling.  Jesus is the one that does the baptizing on this one.

When you get the Holy Spirit you actually sort of become a superpower. You can do many things that you could not do before. You speak another unlearned language known or unknown. But you can also have various gifts such as laying hands on people and they get healed (you always need to say in the name of Jesus, note: you have the gift and speaking in tongues does not require you say in the name of Jesus I speak in tongues, you just speak in them at will) (so as well you could lay hands on someone and they receive healing without the name of Jesus, this over all is not what you should do or practice, Jesus does the healing not you. The Holy Spirit makes you able to function in healing, but you are actually not the healer, Jesus is.) Always say in the name of Jesus add Christ and rotate Jesus' name if you like (Christ Jesus, Jesus Christ, Jesus) Avoid saying in Christ's name too often, because the specifics is Jesus "Son of God" and functions as the Christ. The name Jesus of "Jesus Christ" is the primary name. Using Christ won't deter healing, but enables focus off Jesus and could lead to the christ rather than the Christ to some.

My point here is to help you operate in your gifts bringing Glory to God through Jesus Christ and to emphasize he is Christ Jesus whom God is Glorified. Sometimes in a busy healing service you can be seeing people healed and the "in the name of Jesus" was not used and the person was only laying hands on the sick and they did get healed. Once again it is important that you know, the gifts is operating through you and people will be healed regardless if you say in Jesus name or not. They could just touch your clothes and get healed. To keep the Glory to GOD keep in mind it is Jesus not you and it is God being Glorified in Jesus not Glorified in you. Don't take the Glory when you noticed you missed saying in the name of Jesus just begin saying it on the next one.

This is for those that may come to think there is something special and magical happening when it is simply Jesus is healing people through a human vessel. Just about guarantee you that you will need to be Baptized in the Holy Spirit to have such healings going through you to others.

Not only healing power or other usual gifts as Acts tells you you will be given severally, but you have a wide variety of not listed gifts. You will be able to use gifts in your personal life which seems selfish , but is not. You are with yourself 24/7/365 and so you know your needs and in your personal life you learn about the Holy Spirit. You can do no more than occasionally speak in tongues or you can spend many hours a day deep in the process of seeking deeper depths into the Holy Spirit. It is the time you want to spend with the HOLY SPIRIT that you can learn other things you can do and cannot do. Does not mean you can say up up and away and fly faster than a speeding bullet or leap buildings at a single bound. IT DOES NOT MEAN YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE AS YOU KNOW IT. But you can venture into the realm of the spirit world (fairly safely, but also dangerously, satan and demons and unknowns exists there too) so you can reach into outer darkness where hair will stand up and chills dart all over your body as your body sees what it could not see before and the unknown just is a scarey place so knowing this you also know you are covered in the BLOOD and can cast out evil spirit on your journey into the deep where revelations and wonder lay hidden and takes much digging to uncover. Your eyes can see things you never saw before, it is yours for the seeking, but you may suffer if you are not ready to face evil with good. I do not hear many Christian Pentecostal publicly explaining what is available to Christians that are Baptized in the HOLY SPIRIT.

God is more than what you see in church he is throughout the universe and is wonderful and usually you see many wonders you don't know what they are. Sometimes you get revelations and understand what you see. But you can have this power as it is a free gift Jesus wants to give you. Late you will yes leap tall buildings at a single bound when you get your spirit body in THAT day.

Once your are Baptized in the Holy Spirit you won't be the same. Now you will have more things you can do. In the loneliest places you have the vast universe to explore. Or in a crowded places you have the privacy of you and God to see many things. You can do like you see other in Church with the baptism or you can explore the Holy Spirit.
